Please read these Terms and conditions carefully. They contain important limits on our liability (section 19) and rights we have to film you and use your image (section 13).
1. About these Terms
1.1 Who we are. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Checkmate International L.L.C-FZ, a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence no. 2653739.01), which operates the Infinity Poker brand ("Infinity Poker", "we", "us", "our").
1.2 What they cover. These Terms apply to your use of our website, apps and social channels, your Infinity Poker account, any package you buy from us, and your registration for, attendance at or participation in any Infinity Poker tournament, festival, satellite, side event, cash game or promotion (each an "Event").
1.3 Acceptance. By registering, buying a package, entering a satellite or taking part in or attending an Event, you accept these Terms. If you play after registering, you are treated as having accepted them, whether or not you signed a registration form. If you do not accept them, do not use our services or take part in our Events.
1.4 Other documents. These Terms should be read with our Privacy Policy, the Infinity Poker Tournament Rules, any Event-specific rules or structure sheets, and our Media Guidelines. Together these form the whole agreement between you and us about Events.
1.5 Venues. Our Events are hosted at licensed casinos and resorts ("Venues"). The Venue conducts the gaming under its licence, receives and holds buy-ins and player funds, and pays prizes. You must also follow the Venue's own terms, house rules and local gaming laws, and you may have to accept them separately.
1.6 Order of precedence. If documents conflict, the following apply in this order: (a) applicable law and gaming regulations; (b) the Venue's terms and house rules on gaming matters; (c) Event-specific rules; (d) the Tournament Rules; (e) these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1 To take part in, or attend, any Event you must:
- be at least 18 years old, or older if the law of the Venue's country requires (for example, the minimum age at some Venues is 19 or 21);
- be legally allowed to enter the Venue and gamble there, including under any rules that restrict entry by nationality or residence;
- not be self-excluded, barred or excluded by the Venue, a regulator, a sponsor, a partner or us;
not be a person subject to sanctions, or acting for one; hold a valid original photo ID (a passport for foreign nationals) and show it whenever asked.
2.2 Age and ID checks apply to spectators and guests as well as players. We or the Venue may refuse entry to anyone who cannot prove their age.
2.3 Our employees, contractors, and their immediate family members living in the same household, and staff of any company providing services to an Event, may not play in that Event without our prior written approval.
2.4 It is your responsibility to check that taking part in an Event, and travelling for it, is legal for you under the laws of your country of residence and citizenship.
3. Registration, accounts and checks
3.1 You must register before playing, either online through our registration portal or in person at the Venue's registration desk.
3.2 You may hold only one account. It must be in your own name, with true, complete and current details. You must not register for or play on behalf of anyone else, or let anyone else play for you.
3.3 Any player card or account credential we issue remains our property, is personal to you and may not be shared, copied, lent or transferred. You are responsible for keeping it safe and for anything done with it until you report it lost or misused.
3.4 We, the Venue, or providers acting for us may carry out identity, age, sanctions, politically-exposed-person and anti-money-laundering checks, and may ask for documents or information about your source of funds. By registering, you authorise these checks. You must provide what we reasonably ask for promptly.
3.5 We may refuse or cancel a registration, suspend or close your account, cancel your player card, or delay any related payment if you fail or refuse a check, give false or misleading information, open more than one account, abuse our systems, breach these Terms, or if we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering or other unlawful activity.
3.6 Where we use a third-party registration or tournament management system, you must also follow its terms. However, we keep full control and final authority over all eligibility, operational and disciplinary decisions for our Events.
4. Buy-ins, fees and payments
4.1 The buy-in, entry fee, any applicable tax and any Venue charges for each Event are shown on the official schedule. Unless stated otherwise, buy-ins are paid to, and held by, the Venue.
4.2 Packages bought from us are paid only through our authorised payment gateway or other methods we publish on our official website. We will never ask you to send money to a personal account. We are not responsible for payments made to anyone else claiming to represent us.
4.3 Prices are in the currency shown. You are responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion costs or exchange-rate differences.
4.4 Some Events may have limits on buy-ins, re-entries, payment methods, cash handling or payouts set by the Venue or local law.
4.5 Pre-registered seats are held until the start of the Event or until you collect your entry. Late registration closes at the time set in the structure sheet.
4.6 You must not make a chargeback or payment reversal for a valid purchase. If you do, we may suspend your account and refuse future entries until the amount and any costs are repaid.
5. Cancellations, refunds and no-shows
5.1 Once a tournament has started, buy-ins cannot be refunded, because they form part of the prize pool. This includes if you do not attend or arrive after late registration closes.
5.2 You may ask to cancel a pre-registration before the tournament starts. This is at the Venue's and our discretion and may require at least 48 hours' notice to support@infinitypoker.co from the email on your account. Any registration or processing fees may not be refundable.
5.3 Package refunds follow the cancellation terms shown when you buy. Hotel, flight and other travel parts may be subject to the provider's own non-refundable or cancellation policies.
5.4 If we or the Venue cancel a tournament before it starts, your buy-in for that tournament will be refunded. If a tournament is stopped after it starts, the remaining prize pool will be handled under the Tournament Rules and the Venue's procedures.
5.5 Satellite seats, qualifier packages, freerolls and promotional entries have no cash value and cannot be refunded or exchanged unless the promotion rules say so.
6. Packages, travel and accommodation
6.1 Event and hospitality packages may include tournament entries, hotel accommodation, transfers and other extras, as described at the time of purchase.
6.2 Hotels, airlines, transfer companies and other travel suppliers provide their services under their own terms. We arrange or resell these services but do not control them, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, delays or cancellations, except where the law says otherwise.
6.3 You are responsible for your own passport, visas, entry permits, vaccinations, travel insurance and compliance with immigration and customs rules. Being refused entry to a country or Venue does not entitle you to a refund.
6.4 Package components are personal and may not be resold or transferred without our written consent. Unused components have no cash value.
6.5 We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs and loss of belongings.
7. Satellites, qualifiers and partners
7.1 Seats and packages for our Events may be won through satellites run by us or our authorised partners (online poker rooms, clubs or Venues). The partner's own rules also apply to those satellites.
7.2 Only partners we have authorised in writing may offer seats or packages to our Events. We may refuse to honour seats awarded by an unauthorised operator, and players may not be sponsored into an Event by one.
7.3 Satellite winners must provide accurate registration details by the deadline we set. If you do not claim or use your seat or package by that deadline, or do not attend the Event, it may be forfeited without compensation.
7.4 Seats and packages won are personal and cannot be transferred, exchanged or converted to cash unless the satellite rules expressly allow it.
8. Tournament rules, structures and errors
8.1 Events are played under the Infinity Poker Tournament Rules, which follow the Poker TDA rules, together with the Venue's house rules and local gaming regulations. The Tournament Director's decisions are final.
8.2 We may add to or change Event rules, structures, schedules, starting stacks, blind levels and payout structures at any time. Changes will be posted on our website or announced at the Event. By continuing to play you accept them.
8.3 We and the Venue may cancel or merge tournaments that do not reach a minimum number of entries.
8.4 A guaranteed prize pool applies only to the Event and conditions stated on the official schedule, and is subject to section 18 (force majeure).
8.5 Clock, chip-count, seating, registration and payout errors will be corrected as soon as they are noticed, under the Tournament Rules. You must tell a tournament official immediately if you notice an error. If you are paid more than you are entitled to, you must repay the excess on request, and it may be deducted from any future prize or package.
8.6 Tournament chips have no cash value, remain the property of the Venue and must not be removed from the table or the Venue.
8.7 Any deal to share the remaining prize pool may only be discussed at the table, with a tournament official present, and must be approved by the Tournament Director. Agreed deals may be filmed and will be made public. The trophy and title are not part of any deal.
8.8 English is permitted at all tables. Other languages may be allowed at some Events; check the Event information. Speaking a non-permitted language during a hand may lead to penalties.
9. Integrity and fair play
9.1 We have zero tolerance for cheating. The following are strictly prohibited:
collusion, soft play, chip dumping or any agreement with another player to gain an unfair advantage; using, or receiving help from, real-time assistance software, solvers, charts or any outside help during a hand; using a phone, smartwatch, tablet or other device at the table in breach of the Tournament Rules; marking cards, using marked cards or other devices, or tampering with equipment; playing under another person's identity, or holding multiple entries in the same flight unless the rules allow it; photographing or recording other players' hole cards, or sharing hand information with anyone while the hand is in progress.
9.2 Any staking, backing or swap arrangement is a private matter between the players involved. We are not a party to it and will not enforce it, and all prizes will be paid only to the registered player. You must not enter into any such arrangement that would amount to collusion.
9.3 If we or the Venue reasonably suspect a breach of this section, we may investigate, including reviewing CCTV, hand histories and broadcast footage, and may withhold prize payments while we do so. If we find a breach, we may disqualify you, forfeit your buy-in and any prize, remove your results, ban you from future Events, share information with other tours, Venues and regulators, and report the matter to the authorities.
10. Player conduct and security
10.1 Abusive, threatening, violent or discriminatory behaviour, harassment, and any criminal activity will not be tolerated at our Events.
10.2 We or the Venue may penalise, disqualify or remove anyone who breaks the rules, is heavily intoxicated, behaves abusively, damages property or acts in any way we reasonably consider unsuitable. A disqualified player forfeits their entire buy-in and any prize money or other prize they would have been entitled to at that point.
10.3 We and the Venue may refuse entry to anyone, or bar them from future Events, for any lawful reason, including security concerns, previous incidents or reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing.
10.4 Suspected criminal activity may be reported to the police or regulators and evidence may be shared with them. We operate a confidential reporting channel at integrity@infinitypoker.co for anyone who wants to raise a concern.
10.5 You may not display or communicate any political, offensive, discriminatory, obscene or illegal content, or advertise or sell goods or services, at an Event without our consent. Our decision on this is final.
10.6 Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is not allowed at the tables.
10.7 You must follow the instructions of Venue security and our staff at all times, including during an emergency evacuation. Please make yourself aware of the fire exits.
11. Personal belongings, health and safety
11.1 You are responsible for your own belongings. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property at an Event or Venue, except where caused by our negligence.
11.2 You take part in Events at your own risk and must look after your own health. Tell a tournament official if you feel unwell; medical help will be called where needed. If you cannot continue in a tournament, your chips may be blinded off under the Tournament Rules.
11.3 You must follow any health and safety measures required by the Venue or local authorities.
12. Logos, sponsorship and branding
12.1 You may not wear or display at any Event the logo or branding of any gambling, betting or gaming operator that is not allowed to advertise legally where the Event is held, or of any operator that competes with an official Event partner, without our written approval.
12.2 You may not wear or display any logo, image or message that we reasonably consider indecent, offensive, political, discriminatory or likely to promote violence or hatred.
12.3 Sponsored players must get our written approval before the Event to wear a sponsor's logo, and must comply with any size, number and placement limits we set, our branding guidelines, local law and broadcast standards. Stricter limits apply at featured and streaming tables.
12.4 We may require you to remove, cover or change any non-compliant item (including clothing, caps and card protectors) before you play. If you refuse, you may not be allowed to play at a featured table or, in serious cases, may be disqualified.
12.5 You must follow the rules of any promotion we run at an Event, including any requirement to wear a promotional logo.
13. Filming, image rights and featured tables
13.1 We may photograph, film, record, live-stream and broadcast any part of any Event, including you, at any time, and may use that material worldwide, in any media now known or developed in the future, without time limit.
13.2 You grant us, our licensees and anyone acting for us a free, irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual licence to use, edit, adapt, translate and distribute your name, nickname, nationality, image, likeness, voice, biography, results, and any footage, photographs or recordings featuring you made at or in connection with an Event (your "Contribution"). This includes use in live and recorded broadcasts, streams, highlights, social media, news, archives, and marketing for Infinity Poker and its Events. To the extent the law allows, you waive any moral rights in your Contribution and agree not to bring any claim relating to its use as allowed by these Terms.
13.3 13.3 All rights in the footage and recordings of our Events belong to us. You must not sell, license or broadcast footage of our Events without our written permission.
13.4 13.4 We will ask for your separate written consent before using you individually in advertising for a sponsor or third-party product, or before arranging interviews with outside press or partners.
13.5 13.5 If you are selected for a featured, streaming or television table, you agree to:
- sit at that table when asked;
- show your hole cards to the hole-card cameras for each hand you play, unless you are playing blind;
hand in phones, headphones, smartwatches and other electronic devices before taking your seat, if asked; not communicate with anyone outside the table while you are involved in a hand; stay in designated areas during breaks, and be accompanied by an official if you need to leave, when asked; follow wardrobe, logo and card-protector instructions; accept reasonable delays, extra breaks or stoppages for production reasons; take part in reasonable interviews and extra filming before, during or after play; not use profanity, offensive gestures or other misconduct.
13.6 Broadcasts showing hole cards will be shown on a delay of at least 15-30 minutes.
13.7 Breaking featured-table rules may lead to penalties, up to disqualification and forfeiture of your buy-in and any prize.
14. Media, content creators and recording
14.1 Professional media, streamers, vloggers and content creators must apply for and receive our accreditation before filming or broadcasting at an Event, and must follow our Media Guidelines and the Venue's rules.
14.2 Players and spectators may take personal photos for non-commercial use where the Venue allows it, but must not film or photograph other players' hole cards, the dealer's stub, the cage or security areas, or film other people in a way that invades their privacy.
14.3 We may revoke accreditation or remove anyone who breaches these rules.
15. Prizes and taxes
15.1 Prizes are paid by the Venue under its own procedures, on presentation of valid photo ID and your player card or account details. You will receive a receipt showing the Event, your finishing position and your prize.
15.2 Prizes are paid only to the registered player and cannot be transferred. Non-cash prizes, such as trophies, rings, seats or packages, cannot be exchanged for cash unless we say so.
15.3 Prize payments may require identity and anti-money-laundering documents, and large or international transfers may take time. Payments may be delayed or withheld while checks or integrity investigations are completed, or refused if checks are failed.
15.4 You must collect your prize within the time set by the Venue or the Event rules. Prizes not claimed within that time may be forfeited, subject to local law.
15.5 Local taxes may be deducted from prizes where the law requires.
15.6 15.6 You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any income or other taxes on your winnings in any country, and for filing accurate and timely tax returns. You agree to reimburse us for any tax liability, cost or penalty we incur because you failed to do so, where the law allows.
16. Responsible gaming
16.1 Poker should be enjoyed as entertainment. Set limits on time and money, and never play with money you cannot afford to lose.
16.2 16.2 If you want to take a break or self-exclude from our Events, contact the Venue or us at support@infinitypoker.co. We will honour self-exclusions and exclusions notified to us by Venues and regulators, and may refuse entry to anyone who is excluded.
16.3 16.3 If you are worried about your gambling, or someone else's, please seek help from a local support service. Contact details for each Event's country are available from the Venue or on our website.
17. Intellectual property and use of our website
17.1 17.1 The Infinity Poker name, logos, trophies, Event names, schedules, designs, website content, software, footage and all related trademarks and other intellectual property belong to Checkmate International L.L.C-FZ or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of these rights to you.
17.2 17.2 You may not use our name or brand, or present yourself or any business as connected with or endorsed by us, without our written permission. Using a third-party registration, payment or qualification system gives that provider no rights in our brand or Events.
17.3 When using our website or apps you must not: break any law; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; introduce viruses or harmful code; scrape, copy or harvest data or content by automated means; or post anything unlawful, defamatory, offensive or infringing. Content you post on our channels may be removed at our discretion, and you give us a free licence to use it in connection with our Events.
17.4 Information on our website, including schedules, structures and guarantees, may change and may contain errors. The official schedule at the Venue on the day prevails.
18. Changes, cancellation and force majeure
18.1 We and the Venue may cancel, postpone, relocate, shorten or change any Event, tournament, structure, schedule or guarantee at our discretion.
18.2 We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform, including failure to meet a guaranteed prize pool, caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include natural disasters and severe weather, fire, epidemics and public-health measures, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, failure of power, internet or technical systems, transport disruption, failure of a Venue or supplier, changes in law or regulation, and any action, order or refusal of a licence or approval by a government, regulator or court.
18.3 In such cases we may take any reasonable measures, including changing formats, moving play online where lawful, or excluding people to protect health and safety. Our liability in that situation is limited to refunding buy-ins for tournaments that have not started, where those buy-ins are held by us or can be recovered from the Venue.
19. Our liability
19.1 Our website, apps, player cards and registration systems are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
19.2 To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:
the acts or omissions of Venues, hotels, travel providers, qualification partners or other third parties; loss of profits, winnings, opportunity or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss; travel, accommodation or other expenses you incur in connection with an Event; loss of or damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our negligence.
19.3 To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for all claims connected with an Event or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid directly to us for the package or service concerned.
19.4 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
19.5 You agree to reimburse us and our officers, staff and partners for any claims, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your breach of any law, or your conduct at an Event.
20. Suspension and termination
20.1 We may suspend or close your account, cancel any registration or package, and ban you from future Events, with immediate effect, if you breach these Terms or the Tournament Rules, if we are required to by a Venue, regulator or law, or if we reasonably suspect fraud, cheating, money laundering or other wrongdoing.
20.2 You may close your account at any time by contacting support@infinitypoker.co. Closing your account does not affect any Event you have already entered, or our right to keep records under our Privacy Policy.
20.3 Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including those on image rights, intellectual property, liability, taxes and governing law, will continue to apply.
21. Complaints and disputes
21.1 Rulings at the table are dealt with by the Tournament Director at the time and are final. Raise any issue with a tournament official immediately; failing to do so may mean the result stands.
21.2 Any other complaint should be sent in writing to support@infinitypoker.co within 30 days of the event it relates to, with your name, player ID, the Event and the details of your complaint. We will acknowledge it within 5 working days and aim to give a full response within 30 days.
21.3 Complaints about gaming, chips, cash handling or prize payment by the Venue should also be raised with the Venue under its own complaints procedure and, where applicable, its regulator.
21.4 If your complaint is not resolved, either of us may refer the dispute to the courts set out in section 23.
22. General
22.1 Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be on our website with its "last updated" date. Please check it before each Event. Changes apply from the date they are published and do not affect Events already completed.
22.2 Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate, Venue partner or successor without notice. You may not transfer yours.
22.3 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the documents listed in section 1.4, are the whole agreement between you and us about Events and replace any earlier agreement. You confirm that you have not relied on any statement not set out in them.
22.4 Enforcement. We, or anyone acting for us, may take any reasonable action to enforce these Terms.
22.5 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we may still enforce it later.
22.6 Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in full force.
22.7 No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between you and us.
22.8 Third parties. Venues and our affiliates may rely on the provisions of these Terms that protect them. Otherwise, no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
22.9 Notices. We may send notices to the email address on your account or publish them on our website. You may send notices to support@infinitypoker.co.
22.10 Language. These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails, except where local law requires otherwise.
23. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute arising from or connected with them or with any Event, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may bring proceedings in any other court with jurisdiction, including where the Event took place. Gaming matters at a Venue remain subject to that Venue's local law and regulator. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your country of residence.
